The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Vaccinations for All held a breakfast reception in partnership with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance on Tuesday, the 25th April 2023 at 09:00-10:15am in the Attlee Suite, Portcullis House.
Our panel consisted of: Dr Seth Berkley, who was in London for the last time as Gavi’s CEO for this event, Dr Diana Atwine, the Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uganda, and Claire Moran, the Head of Health Institutions and Health Security Department at the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Dr Berkley shared the following message after the event: “The UK government has made clear its commitment to improve immunisation coverage globally. We know that vaccines are one of the most cost-effective public health investments we can make; healthy communities mean healthy economies.“
